One of PSC’s huge external projects, Saint Vincent General Hospital new annex building was inaugurated last October 11, 2014.
This remarkable event is made concurrent to the birthday celebration of the most notable figure behind this endeavor, Atty. Augusto W. Go.
It started with a mass held at the Rehabilitation Area, followed by the blessings and walk-through with Atty. Go and his guests from ground floor to third floor. After which, there was a short program attended by Atty. Go, Ms. Candice Gotianuy, Dr. Almendras, Dr.Iben Ting, Ong Family, SVH Management and hospital staff. It was Dr.Iben Ting who gave the welcome address as well as extended his birthday greetings on his cousin’s 80th birthday.
Such project milestone proves PSC’s commitment to its clients. Weeks before, Atty. Go called for the preparation of the building’s then upcoming soft opening. “I was informed of AWG’s reaction when he arrived on the site, he was very surprised of what he saw”, Project Team Leader Pierre Andre Infante said. “Weeks and days before, he was so skeptic whether the PSC Team can deliver the project for the soft opening.”
The new Saint Vincent General Hospital owned by AWG Corporation, is a new 7-storey building with a total floor area of 7,606 m2 annex to the existing one at 210 Jones Avenue, Cebu City. It was built out of the owner’s desire to help out the needy. “AWG shared his vision of helping the poor by building the St. Vincent New Annex Building to help and to care of the lives of less fortunate people”, Project In Charge Rodel Cabigon said.
